Arctis Nova 5X Review: Wireless Gaming Flexibility
Switching between gaming and mobile audio
The quick-switch button is useful when a gaming session is interrupted by a call or when you want to move from game audio to media.
The headset supports 2.4GHz gaming and Bluetooth 5.3, so buyers can consider how those two modes match their devices and routine.
Presets add an app-based tuning option
More than 100 game audio presets give players a starting point for familiar titles, with the companion app providing the route to those options.
This is most useful if you like choosing a game-specific profile; players who prefer a fixed setup may have less reason to explore the preset library.
Battery capacity and fast charging
A 60-hour battery is suited to buyers who prioritize fewer charging breaks, and the USB-C fast-charge feature offers a quick top-up before play.
Treat the six-hour result as tied to the stated 15-minute charging condition rather than as a general measure of every charging session.
Controls and microphone placement
The retractable microphone can be put away when it is not needed, while on-headset controls cover mute, volume, game and audio balance, and wireless switching. That arrangement favors players who want these routine adjustments within reach during use.
